Unseen hands orchestrating
The final countdown
Maestro stepping in
Just in the nick of time
Grouching and crouching
Slowly coming out
Of the shadows
Squint my eyes to block the sun
Smile that can vaporize
Eyes that pierce
Like an arrow
Barreling towards its victim
Killer looks
With baby-eyed innocence
The shape
The form
The gentle touch
Belies the giant
That lives within
Quietly powerful
Silent thunder
Turns mе to dust
Need to run for cover

Moonbeam smile
Velvet lips
Graceful hands with
Spider fingertips
Rose petal face that
Glows in the night

The Northern Lights
Skin as soft as sunshine
On a balmy day

Like a sticky burr

The magnitude
The enormity

Two seas of passion merging
In a symphony of delight
Waves crashing and curling
Kelp dancing and unfurling
Seahorse poised to join in

Tension borders on the absurd

Flowers flowing
Green ferns blowing
Spinning round and round
Forming a crown
Upon my head
Look like
Queen Elizabeth
In disguise
Dressed in her
Bejweled uniform
Necklace weighing her down
Jacket and skirt
With matching pin
And gloves
Don’t forget the hat
The cherry on top
She can’t wait ‘til
The show’s over
So she can shut the door
And be left alone
With her thoughts
A million eyes watching
Her every move
It surely is a mad
Mad world
Lonely lady has
To play the role
Of a lifetime
But silent tears
And relentless fears
Of being outed
As an imposter
Dominate her
Daily thoughts
A sad lonely life
Filled with strife

Bracing for a landing

On my sleeve

Another lifetime
Another 100 years
‘Til we meet again
Been teetering
On the edge
For so long
Waiting for my soulmate

On the magnitude
The enormity
