Everybody's jealous what I tell myself
Temporary fix to shield my mental health
And I'm not sure, it'll ever get better
Or if its even something that I can measure
It's part, of my coping mechanism
Snuff out the usual pessimism
Instead of getting a new prescription

It's delusion
Nothing but an illusion
Escape my mind for a minute
Something to life my spirit

They probably see me as a massive threat
They're right cos if you cross me I won't ever forget
I'm co-ordinated with a grip like a vice
So strong I quit smoking twice
It's all part, of my new coping mechanism
At least for now
Check back in a year or so to see
If I hold this down
