Holidays are over it's January
Take out your garbage and your Christmas tree
Plastic bag on its head, leave it for dead
It's the same thing every year

Christmas trees everywhere you look in town
They litter the sidewalks, turning brown
Till' she come around, growing trees in her crown
Her name is Evergreen

Evergreen's everywhere
Evergreen's in her hair

Magical as that old Saint Nick
Cause' she pulls off a totally impossible trick
All the discarded trees that we think are diseased
She turns em' back to evergreen

There's only so many she can fit on her head
So next year why don't you plant one instead?
