and the more I try to wrap my mind around them,

like the true of intents of the Gospel,

and I can’t help but pursue after them.
For example,
I often take trips down lanes I never strolled before,
down lanes where questions seem isolated from answers.
to times, when even the truth couldn’t set free.
where my innocent choice,
could eternally alter the fate of humanity.
And it just causes me to stop,
and ask further questions)
Like,
What if, the curtained veil never tore?
What if the ground never shook with thunderous quakes,
What if the Crown bore roses as oppose to thorns.
What if Pilate had listened to his wife.
What if the tables turned,
& Death Row had signed the son of a father instead.
like what if the stone had never rolled?
Confessions:
I often wonder,
What if the crowd simply got caught up?
What if these namesakes had traded places,
would the other's death Move Mountains,
or would we just simply burn?
Would we feel the wrath of the Father, or be numb to the sins of a son.
What if in this moment grace didn’t abound,
and instead the Son of Man, actually became man?
What if THE son had summoned for 12 legions of Angels
to replace the moon with the sun.
What if the crowd did get it wrong,
what if they hailed the right name,
but the wrong son.
The fate of mankind,
Formation of grace
Essence of salvation
lied between one name.
One name.
Different stories.
Both Jesus,
One Barrabbas, the other Christ
One the Son of a Father,
The other, Son of THE Father.
One a murderer, the other - Messiah.
One a sinner, the other - Saint.
What if those 30 pieces of silver,
Hadn't become a golden ticket to hell.
What if for once, justice prevailed
for a innocent bronze skin man.
But,
What if God treated Jesus like Barrabbas,
To treat the Barrabbas' like Jesus.
What if they had never freed Barabbas?
What if Christ never took his place,
What if Christ never took our place.
What if ..
