[Verse 1]
Outside in the pouring rain
On a cold spooky night
Strange creatures are crawling around
Under a dim candlelight
Running down this corridor
I'm trapped inside
A thousand eyes staring back at me
But there's no place to hide
Will I ever get out of here?
There's nowhere to run
Darkness surrounds me
Will I ever see the sun?

[Verse 2]
I see a shadow on the wall
Looming large in front of me
I turn around and I scream in horror
At the sight I see
It's a big black spider wearing cowboy boots
Who looked about ten feet tall
He took one step back and then he stood up
In his eight-legged overalls
[Bridge]
I feel a shift in the wind
Like someone breathing on me
The smell of death is in the air
As this spider's indeed

[Verse 4]
I felt a shiver up and down my spine
As the creature moved closer to me
Poisonous venom dripping down his fangs
Is all that I could see
He opened up his jaws and began to speak
And asked, "What are you doing here?"
He said, "I am the keeper of this dungeon
But there's no need to fear"

[Verse 5]
Extending a furry leg of welcomeness
He said, "Please don't be alarmed"
He told me his name was Harold
And that he meant me no harm
He said he was in a hurry trying to get ready
Waiting for his lady friend to call
You see, tonight is Halloween night
And they're going to the Halloween Ball
