Is love a four letter heartache
or is love a four letter love ache
Is love an ache

It can't be
they told me it was going to be wonderful
they told me it was going to be awesome
They told me it was going to be easy

why is it that
They are here going through this with me
why is it that they left me
why is it that they don't talk but scream

I know why
because it ain't love
its infatuation
its a thing called love by some other name
a name that hurts
its a name that engenders confusion and camaraderie
twisted beauty has shown
that only trusted love bites
and that will never change.
