I've been chillin' with my head held high
Nothing wrong but these untied shoes
I render out all the yellow lines
Hard fighting me when you can't lose
Did I sing at the top of my lungs
Did I sing at the top of my lungs for my friends
I've been adding up my mistakes
Lampshades kept my lights undone
Somehow I still find my way
Eyes closed when I'm looking at the sun
Lost the battle, war still going
Preachin' rust, not never knowin'
My heart was hoping
Here's to knowing you ain't changed a bit
You said you can't stay here anymore
It breaks your heart watching me fight this secret war
My secret war
My secret war
My secret war
I wish I would've spoken sooner
I'm knowing now that I will lose you
My heart is broken
Here's to knowing you ain't changed a bit
Changed a bit
Changed a bit
I've been chillin' with my head held high
Nothing wrong but these untied shoes
I render out all the yellow lines
Hard fighting me when you can't lose
Figure out in my own notion
The shame is gone so I've been boasting
My heart was hoping
Here's to knowing you ain't changed a bit
For many of us right now we have to understand
That we're in a state of mind where we're not okay
And I want you to know that it's okay to not be okay
But it's not okay to stay that way
It's not okay to stay inside your mind, in your depression and your anxiety and your guilt
So what we need to do is capture those thoughts
We need to hold them captive
So that they don't go any further in our mind and start that pattern of destructive behavior
We need to kill that thought
And the way we kill that thought it understanding that that thought did not come from God
God loves us
He sent his one and only son to die on a cross for our sins
That thought in our mind is trying to destroy us
He has the absolute best in mind for us
And we are no longer bound by those chains
Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right
Whatever is pure
Whatever is lovely
Whatever is admirable
If anything is excellent or praiseworthy, meditate on these things
That's who we are
Nothing wrong but these untied shoes
I render out all the yellow lines
Hard fighting me when you can't lose
Did I sing at the top of my lungs
Did I sing at the top of my lungs for my friends
