We sat alone in the green valley
Where we giggled and made a list
Of things from our childhood
We once believed or currently missed
"Oh I've got one!"
She said with a hiss
Dragons-firey dragons
I used to think they did exist
Much to our surprise
Something flew from the dancing mist
It swooped down low
But luckily just barely missed
Though the aerial assault went on
Eternally he did persist

Then took off giving his tail a twist

"We're so sorry!" we did insist
"This can't be real!" she screamed

But the dragon began to dive low

He proceeded to let us go
