Gather ‘round, you sailors, you’ll weather out this gale
You‘ll find this old sea-dog knowing how to tell a tale
Feed the fire, fill your cups, for set sail I must
This will be my last

Me wasn’t but a boy, razor hadn’t touched my cheeks
When our crew set to hunt out the great outlaws of the seas
We did our job and did it well, hadn’t missed a mark
‘Till that godforsaken barc

Her masts wearing shreds
Vultures ‘bove crow’s nest
The weather’s scratched the name off
The ocean’s claimed the moor
The Black Pearl’s on the move

‘T was no more than a matchbox next to our frigate
And her guns were hardly half in number and in weight
But she run fast as if she had the Devil up her skirt
Manned by the undead
Cursed are they who went where no man should have gone
Mad they who are governed by their pride and greed alone
Doomed to float, damned to drift, joy never to meet
In food, company, or drink

Her hull’s now a wreck
Ghouls now roam the deck
Her once angel-like figurehead
Now a demon’s form
The Black Pearl’s on the move

"All hands on deck!
Cannons ready!
On my mark!
Blast those bastards back to Hell!
Fire!"

It goes without saying, the foe was never caught
For years she sailed just out of range, as if to tease or mock
We’d left home as hunters, as wrecks went back ashore
Deep scars our souls bore

None of us fathered kids, none of us had a wife
And those who died, it was their very hand that took their life
And though no one’s taken ship since, the horizon we still stare
For us, she’s always there
Caution won’t suffice
Courage will demise
When this fiend from Hell
’s been released upon the world
The Black Pearl’s here tonight

Prayers can not help
Arms can not protect
When the Devil’s ship
Has been sent to set a debt
The Black Pearl’s came for me
