I read about venomous snakes. Living with venomous snakes is really no different than living with hornets, or other minor risks of daily life. If one finds a hornet nest, one does not disturb it. The same caution should be applied if one sees a snake. Injury may result if hornets or snakes are disturbed or harassed. However, in North America human injuries from playing sports or slipping in the bathtub are far more common than are injuries from snakes. Venomous snakes are simply not a significant human health issue in North America. The appropriate response to encountering a snake is to simply walk away. Do not attempt to capture or kill it, as 70-80% of bites occur in this manner

On Sept. 11, 2001, Sumo John was working in World Trade Center Tower 1 when American Airlines Flight 11 tore through his building. After several hours, he managed to escape with his life. But for John, the terror of that day was not over yet. His wife's office was in the second World Trade Center tower.John had barely begun his workday on the 81st floor when he heard a loud explosion. As flames burst through the office, John and his co-workers quickly headed for the stairwell."I thought I would die," John said. "The building was swaying and we could feel the building tilting to the left, fighting our way through the fire making our way to the stairwell."

Afterwards, Buffy and Angel suffer the torment of knowing they can never really be together. And then there's the even more poisoned, doomed relationship with Spike, afterwards

What many people may not know is that Benchley's novel was inspired by a real set of shark attacks on the beach communities of New Jersey in 1916. That story clocks in at number two on our list, just ahead of the true story of the USS Indianapolis attacks that "Jaws'" shark hunter, Quint, recounts in gory detail to Chief Brody and Matt Hooper.

I read about animal abuse House pets are not the only victims of human neglect and cruelty. So are equines. Nudge is a young tri-colored Paint Horse, who was in the Animals 3 Spotlight in August, 2009. Because of abuse, his growth has been severely stunted and is extremely underweight. Nudge is slowing recovering thanks to his friends and Animals Abused & Abandoned.

i read about spider bites there was a young woman was sunbathing on the beach and was just about to drop off to sleep, when she felt an insect running along her jawbone and then down her neck. She brushed it away, and thought nothing more of it.After about a week, she noticed what she thought was a pimple growing and growing. The skin was inflamed and it looked like a blister. Then, one day, she was blow-drying her hair and hit the inflamed spot with her hair dryer. The blistered skin broke open and hundreds of tiny white baby spiders and pus came pouring out of the wound!

I read about, A narrative of arresting force. Anyone who ever fancied wondering off to face nature on its own harsh terms should give a look. Haunting few outdoors writers of the day can match krakauer for bringing outside adventure to life on the page. it may be nonfiction but into the wild is a mystery of the highest order.
