A house which stood up on the hill
With no families was dark until
A little boy just wandered out to play
He saw a light in the garage
He snuck into the wooden lodge
And he lived there for free forever since
Let me see the light in the darkness
Let me run away
Let me feel the presence of the unknown
So I can finally change
Where are my friends, why aren't they here?
I want to live, but I can't live in fear
I want to stay here, but not so much alone
This may be a house
But this house is not a home
Or at least not yet
The boy grew older on the sight
The fear he had began to bite
He'd lost almost all contact to the world
So sleep deprived, began to roam
And could he make this house a home?
Yes, surely he could find somebody new
Let me see the light through the tunnel
Let me fly away
Let me feel the presence of the great, so
So I can finally change
Where are my friends, why aren't they here?
I want to live, but I can't live in fear
I want to stay here, but not so much alone
This may be a house
But this house is not a home
Or at least not yet
This house is not a home
This house is not a home
This house will never be a home
This house is not a home
This house is not a home
This house will never be a home
He watches his parents arrive to his old house with fear inside
They had checked everywhere to find their son
The boy walked in and was so shocked to see his family lighten up
It is clear that this house is now his home
With no families was dark until
