"$30 MILLION DOWN THE DRAIN.
Dow Chemical has spent $30 million running its ‘Human Element’ advertising campaign, designed to convince us that Dow is an environmentally sensitive and caring company. Wouldn’t it have been better to use the money to clean this factory in Bhopal, abandoned after the 1984 gas disaster by Dow 100% subsidiary Union Carbide? Carbide left the factory full of lethal chemicals which have leaked and are poisoning the water of 20,000 people, but even as the poisons spread illness and death, Dow continues to refuse to clean the factory. Where is the human element?"
