I’ve gleamed within the wound
I’ve pierced the outer skin
And viewed his mutant body
I’ve skimmed his shiny side
And touched his barren cilia
But now my hand has reached
His tender epilayer
While people down to apathy
Do cry for more relief
My tender youthful hands have found
That separation in within
But there’s no love around
As I so tenderly affect
The crying Robins child
I do so with regret
But now submit the need
For care
For touch
For tender “I love you’s”
When hardened by Medussa’s touch
To shere I am right now
A lowly skeptic waiting her
For years to pass me by
I’ve pierced the outer skin
And viewed his mutant body
I’ve skimmed his shiny side
And touched his barren cilia
But now my hand has reached
His tender epilayer
While people down to apathy
Do cry for more relief
My tender youthful hands have found
That separation in within
But there’s no love around
As I so tenderly affect
The crying Robins child
I do so with regret
But now submit the need
For care
For touch
For tender “I love you’s”
When hardened by Medussa’s touch
To shere I am right now
A lowly skeptic waiting her
For years to pass me by
