In addition to giving some of my own life lessons and just dropping some knowledge on how I feel about things I'm also going to presenting some artwork from some of my favorite artists. As I go through these things I want you to remember that this isn't a suggestion on how to live your life and it's not a guide on how to live either. Instead this is just a tool that I want to present to people to help them open a dialogue with themselves about how they should live their lives since it's ultimately a decision they have to make.
I won't be going through actual suggestion of things for you to do for the most part but instead will be pointing out things that I've come to find as true which have helped me develop my own view on what life is and what it should be. But on another note there is also something that I really want to talk about here and that's the network. We live in a networked age, which is basically an age where things are connected together and information is democratized in one area, mainly the web at this point. Living is this age is both a good thing and a bad thing but that's because of how we've decided to approach the times and the technology.
The good of the network age comes out of the practicality of the tools that are being used and produced. Things like cellphones, text messages, email, youtube, Facebook, you name it. All of those things are made possible by the network and, practically, are very useful. But the way the network is being used and the amount of time spent with the network as an end rather than a means has put us in a place where we are unable to truly connect. We need to get away from using social media as a place to represent someone who we aren't and instead start using it to connect with people who are like us.
